BIBA 2018 was another success for NIG and we enjoyed spending time with our broker partners and meeting new brokers too.

All our executive members were in attendance, as were local NIG contacts, who were there to field questions and discuss how we could help brokers grow their complex and eTraded business.

Our ambition is clear – to be the brokers’ choice as commercial insurer to UK enterprises. We want to do this by organising our business around the broker, so that we can find even more ways to be ‘effortless to trade with’. On our stand we spoke about some of the improvements we are making to support businesses and accordingly, our theme reflected this. Simply put, our belief is that insurance should be a walk in the park.

Three brokers won a Garmin Forerunner watch by topping the leader board in our NIG Park Ping Pong game. We also gave away Bluetooth headphones as instant prizes.

The night before the conference we hosted our NIG Speakeasy Club at Hotel Gotham. Highlights included 1920’s style entertainment, casino tables, our speakeasy cocktail and whiskey bar and a live band and singers.
